Digital fax to email

Changing the Default Email Client > Windows 7
  1. Click the Windows icon (), click Programs, click HP, click the folder for your HP printer, and then click the icon for your HP printer (). The printer software opens.
     
  2. Double-click Fax Actions, and then double-click Digital Fax Setup Wizard.
  3. Click Digital Fax to Email Setup.
  4. Enter the email address to which incoming faxes should be forwarded.
  5. Click PDF or TIFF file format for saving received fax files.
  6. Click Yes or No to automatically print received faxes.
  7. The wizard will either automatically detect the SMTP email addresses found on your computer, or you can specify the address you want to use.
  8. Click the desired Fax Polling Interval, which is how often the printer checks for incoming faxes to forward to email.
  9. Make sure that the SMTP server and SMTP port information is correct.
