CCleaner

*You will need CCleaner, download it from here: https://www.piriform.com/CCLEANER*

When a person runs CCleaner, it helps clean the computer and deletes useless private data files like your browsing history. It also checks your registry for any issues as well and helps the end user’s computer run without freezing and crashing.

Click on “Download”

Click on “Download” again.

The program will download and by default saves to the “Downloads” folder.

To navigate to the “Downloads” folder, go to: Start/Computer

Now click on “Downloads” in the left upper corner.

Now double-click the file “ccsetup416”.

A “Open File – Security Warning” will show up, click “Run”.

Now a dialog box will pop up saying “Welcome to the CCleaner vX.XX (Mine is v4.16) Setup”

Select your language and click next.

Leave everything default and click “Install”.

Now uncheck “View Release notes” and click “Finish”.

The program will now open.

If CCleaner didn't open automatically, find CCleaner on your computer and double-click on the CCleaner icon.

Once the CCleaner program opens, click on analyze in the lower middle of the program.

Now click on “Run Cleaner” in the lower right corner.

A dialog box will show up stating, “This process will permanently delete files from your system. Are you sure you wish to proceed?” Click “OK”. The scan will start and do its thing. After completed, click “Analyze”.
