The symptom that was experienced by Janelle, Ashley and Kristi was that push buttons on the Journal Update spreadsheet template would ONLY work when the spreadsheet template was parked on their PRIMARY display screen (i.e., their laptop screen). However, when the template was parked on one of the SECONDARY monitors, mouse clicking on the push buttons on the Journal Loader spreadsheet template file WOULD NOT WORK.
Yesterday, I got Janelle Dodd's spreadsheet working fine after having her apply Windows Updates from July 2019 that were still queued up and not applied. After she had applied the updates and restarted her machine, her template started working fine, no matter which monitor the template was parked on.
I got Ashley Ward working this morning after adjusting her primary screen resolution downwards, from 125% to 100%. Now she can park the template on any monitor, and the mouse clicking on push buttons works.
I also got Kristi Kramber's mouse clicking to work fine from the secondary monitors by adjusting the primary screen resolution downwards, from 125% to 100%. Now, however, her monitor 3 display is not quite right.
I am transferring this back to the Help Desk group to get someone from that group to go look at the monitor settings on Kristi's workstation.
