Disk Cleanup deletes useless files; temporary internet files and helps speed up a computer. It should be run once a month.
 
To run disk cleanup, click start\All Programs\Accessories\System Tools\Disk Cleanup.
 
Now with the program open, select drive C: and click “OK”.
 
Now it will run its course.
 
Once completed it will open a dialog box asking which files to delete.
 
Click on boxes for: Temporary Internet Files, Temporary Files, Thumbnails and Windows Update Cleanup. Then Click “OK”.
 
A dialog box will come up stating, “Are you sure you want to permanently delete these files?” Click “Delete Files”.
 
Your computer will now start cleaning drive C:
 
It will automatically close once completed.
